About Groomed for The Kingdom

Joshua Hawkins, fondly known as "Hawk the Barber," is a devoted man of Christ, a loving father, husband, and master barber with a passion for fishing. Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, Joshua now resides in Atlanta, Georgia.

Joshua's journey in the barbering industry began in 2010, and for over 14 years, he has made a significant impact. His accolades include winning multiple barber battles, earning the title of "Best Barber in America," and becoming one of BaBylissPRO’s top ambassadors and educators. Joshua is renowned for setting trends and pushing the boundaries of the barbering craft.

As the proud owner of Groomed for The Kingdom Barbershop, Joshua seamlessly integrates his faith with his profession, sharing the gospel with his clients and fostering a community grounded in Christian values. His dedication to mentorship has led to the creation of a program for aspiring barbers, providing guidance and support to the next generation of talent.

Joshua is also the founder of Barbers in Christ, a community group designed to bring together believing barbers, encouraging them to serve, support one another, and grow in their faith. He is continually learning to be a better steward of the resources God has entrusted to him, always striving to honor his faith in every aspect of his life and work.
